I'm often called Funtooguy because I've promoted and marketed waterslide temporary tattoos since 1988. I view my products as an alternative to the lifetime commitment of real tattoos. I constantly do research to find the most realistic and best quality in the industry.

What every guy wants for Valentine's Day
Every guy out there would love a rose, strategically placed, on his sweetheart on Valentines Day...or most any day for that matter. For you ladies out there, this is a tip worth noting. The nice thing about temporary tattoos is...they're temporary. You can place them anywhere you like and wear them for a few hours or a few days. Most traditional temporary tattoos, made on printing presses, will last 3 to 5 days and can be removed with alcohol. If you want a temporary tattoo with a longer life and more realistic look, you should choose a Japanese paper tattoo which is made with a more complex printing process. Just like the jewelery, makeup, and clothes you wear; temporary tattoos can accentuate your appearance. Your "canvas" is your entire body, so let your imagination run wild. There are hundreds of images to select from. Cancer patient loses hair and adds a temporary tattoo
Kristie, my tattoo tester in Canada, is going through chemotherapy and lost her hair. Since she found herself with fresh canvas for tattooing, she decided to see how a temporary tattoo would look on the back of her head. Here's what she said in her email: Here’s a shot of my current tattoo, I was surprised it went on so well over the curve of the skull. Hard to take a picture of the back of your own head but it came out okay. It’s been on for two days at the time of the picture (3 now) and it will be interested to see how long it hangs in, considering sleep and toques (hats). Both have a great chance to mess it up.The tattoo Kristie selected was a Giant Japanese Tribal Dragon Paper Tattoo. She's especially fond of my Japanese Paper Tattoos. I've had quite a number of people who were going through Chemotherapy use temporary tattoos to add a little fun to an otherwise bad experience. One lady, Kat, was in and out of the hospital many times and always had a fresh tattoo each time she was admitted. She said the hospital personnel always looked forward to her latest creation. It's nice that temporary tattoos can bring a little relief to people who are struggling with such a horrible disease. Please include them all in your prayers. More testing of temporary tattoos
This test compares two temporary tattoos with one from my inventory used as a reference. The top photo was taken 24 hours after application. The "DO OR DIE" reference tattoo and the "LOVE KILLS SLOWLY" skull tattoos look good, but the "FOR THE BOYS" vintage pinup tattoo is thin and already beginning to break down. Note that the two tattoos being compared with my reference tattoo are both from the same manufacturer. The same is true of the tattoo shown in my blog post of December 28th. The bottom photo was taken 4 days after application. The lighting was different, but you can see that the "FOR THE BOYS" tattoo has broken down substantially and the letters are no longer legible. In just 4 days, I can conclude that the "FOR THE BOYS" tattoo is a reject while the "LOVE KILLS SLOWLY" tattoo is holding up well and worthy of consideration to be included in the selection at Funtoos.com. However, I'm concerned that only 1 of 3 tattoos from this supplier has met my quality standards. That would indicate that the production quality is not consistent. Still, I'll mark the "LOVE KILLS SLOWLY" on my potential addition list while I evaluate more tattoos from this source.
