Get your flag ready!

Please join me in displaying the American flag on Saturday, September 11th, 2010 in honor of the victims of 9/11/2001.
I remember that day well. I was in my office with TV on in the background when the first plane hit the first tower. There was a lot of confusion about what was first thought to be a terrible accident. When the second plane hit, it was obvious that America was under attack. It was shocking and I felt a numbness throughout my body. Wikipedia provides and excellent review of the attack and the period following 9/11. You can read it here.
The months following 9/11 were filled with a patriotic solidarity like none I had seen before. American flags began showing up on lawns, business, and vehicles across the country...and even as tattoos. I began getting requests for patriotic temporary tattoos that had previously been rather slow-sellers. My primary supplier was quick to respond and I continue to offer a wide range of patriotic temporary tattoos.
I'm a bit saddened that the patriotic solidarity that I saw 2001 seems to have subsided so much when the powers behind the 9/11 attack are still intent on destroying the American way of life. I'm a firm believer in the Gadsden symbol of a rattlesnake with the words "Don't Tread on Me" inscribed below. I wear that tattoo often. Join me in showing your patriotism for our great country.
